Welcome to the official website of the International Conference on Climate Stress, Human Vulnerability, and Adaptive Governance: Interdisciplinary Perspectives in the Age of AI, which will be held on 16th – 17th April 2026 at Uttaranchal University in Dehradun, India.

Welcome to the Conference

Climate change is reshaping ecosystems, economies, and societies at an unprecedented pace. Rising environmental stress is not only a scientific concern but a profound social challenge affecting vulnerable communities, governance systems, and development pathways. As technological innovation advances, Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers transformative tools for risk assessment, adaptive planning, and evidence-based policymaking.

This International Conference aims to create an interdisciplinary platform that bridges environmental science, social sciences, governance studies, and emerging technologies to address the pressing challenges of climate stress and human vulnerability.

About the Conference

The conference focuses on understanding how climate-induced stress interacts with social structures, public policy, and institutional governance. It seeks to explore adaptive frameworks that integrate scientific knowledge, technological tools, and ethical governance principles.

By bringing together researchers, policymakers, social scientists, environmental scholars, and AI experts, the conference encourages dialogue that connects human-environment relationships with data-driven solutions and inclusive policy design.

Who Can Attend The Conference?

Academicians, researchers, policymakers, social work professionals, AI experts, development practitioners, research scholars, students, and representatives from government, civil society, and industry working on climate change and adaptive governance are invited to attend the conference.
